Hardware repair includes the repairing or replacing of any physical component on your computer. There are many different components that make up a computer. Some of those parts can be repaired and some are and some are considered FRU’s (field replaceable units). Any part that would cost more to repair than to replace is considered an FRU. Theses are parts such power supply, motherboard, memory, etc.

Our technicians will have most parts with them. So if we have to replace a part it’s still generally going to be repaired onsite during that same visit. There are some rare instances where a computer might require a special part that needs to be ordered from the manufacturer. In that case we order the part and get the tech back out to you to complete the repair as soon as the part arrives.
